Timeless Learning Journey

Dear Students, Parents and Friends,

Welcome to the Angels in Heaven School (AHS), the institution that we hold very near and dear to our hearts. Truly our source of pride and joy, it has allowed us to pursue and realize our passion to educate and mold the young minds of today that they may become the model citizens and leaders of tomorrow.

The world that we know does not stand still and “change” invariably happens with every tick of the clock. This truism has manifested itself time and time again at AHS. From the very first day we opened our doors to our first crop of students in 1989 and up to where we are now, AHS has gone through numerous changes – but for sure, bigger and better each time. We have carefully and thoughtfully nurtured our students along their learning journey - through their pre-school, grade school and now on to high school.

However, while many things have truly evolved at AHS through all these years, there is one all-important, intrinsic part of our credo that has remained unchanged – our culture of caring for our students. It is in fact the very soul of our Mission, Vision, Philosophy and Commitment statements.

Indeed, it is our very profound, genuine, and absolute affection for our students that have steered us to adopt a comprehensive learning environment and an inclusive education program that promotes a sense of belongingness and self esteem. We believe that our responsibility to our students does not stop at developing their Intelligence Quotient (IQ) alone. As a very substantial and complementary boost to their self-confidence and self-worth, we have the enhancement of their Emotional Quotient (EQ) in our crosshairs as well.

We are very aware that individuals are not alike and that they have varying IQ levels. But we know just as well that individuals have other innate Multiple Intelligences that can be developed in concert and thus raisetheir Emotional Quotient (EQ) in the process. We believe in our heart of hearts that our students will reap tremendous benefits from this learning approach; that this will significantly enhance their self-confidence and belief in their own capabilities and appreciate that there are other areas of academic study wherein they can excel.

There is a very valid claim that people with high IQ are greatly valued and much sought-after in the workplace. Nonetheless, there is also an equally valid observation that, oftentimes, it is the people with high EQ who rise to the top - the cream of the crop, if you will - and become much respected and successful leaders in their fields.

As such, our curriculum and program of instructions incorporate this dual approach to education and thus far, experience and various testimonials indicate that AHS products indeed do very, very well wherever they go. This is the kind of success story that gives us cause to celebrate. This is what makes us so proud. This is what inspires us to go on and stay the course. This is what sustains our passion to care and believe in each and every member of the AHS family - students, parents, and staff alike.

And so to you our dear friends and partners please accept our utmost gratitude and appreciation for your continued support and trust in us. With all confidence and our heads held high, we say to you that we at AHS do not only talk the talk of our Mission, Vision and Commitment statements but guided by our Philosophy and Core Values of Caritas, Veritas and Fortitudo, we also walk the walk and demonstrate that we say what we mean and mean what we say.. And that too will not change because as all of you know, at AHS, “Angels Care Everyday.”
