The Wrath of Nature

People will be greatly affected by these. People take refuge in the evacuation centers and depend on donation given to them. They lost their homes and has nothing to go back to,  and sometimes even their loved ones. But during times like these, all of us learn how to help each other in times of need. Reality opens up our eyes and lets us look back around and see the consequences of our carelessness towards nature. Nature can sometimes be cruel to us and it is our fault why.

We sometimes forget that it is our responsibility to keep our environment and surroundings clean. There would be no floods if trashes did not block the canals. We should be careful with everything we do. We should learn to reduce the use of things, recycle materials instead of thoughtlessly harming our environment. People must also remember that here is always hope for us to change. After every storms,  or flood, after the rain, the sun will always show up and bring new hope to everyone.

Being a youth of today, how can we contribute to keep our nature away from near destruction? Indeed, we should plant trees. We don’t need to go to the forest to plant one, instead, we can plant one in our yard or garden. We have the right to tell others not to harm the environment simply because there might nothing to be left to our generation and to the future generation next to us. We can do lots of thing if we just CARE…..WE MUST ACT AND UNITE NOW…… IT IS OUR FUTURE THAT IS AT STAKE.

Typhoons, earthquakes, storms, floods, erosions and other calamities.. have you ever wondered why these things are happening? It is nature’s way of saying “I’m too tired of being abused and disrespected?” By whom? By us? People who were given by God the responsibility to take good care of His creations, the Earth, our planet, which God made for us to live peacefully. In what ways do we destroy nature? The main cause of nature’s near destruction are human activities. One of these  is  illegal logging and massive destruction of nature, the ceaseless cutting of trees which in return affect humans, and, when these things occur it can cause severe flashfloods and landslide if not resolved immediately. It can also lead to loss of habitat of animals, most especially the wilds. Second is the throwing of garbage in our body of waters such as rivers, lakes, oceans and seas. Lastly, the continuous emission of carbon monoxide from the vehicles makes the air we breathe contaminated.
